Description
Kateřina Žmolíková, a doctoral student at the BUT Faculty of Information Technology, won the prestigious Joseph Fourier Award for her work in the field of speech separation, in which she collaborated with the NTT research laboratory in Japan. The technology that Kateřina is working on is widely used today. For example, various personal assistants such as Alexa or Google Home are popular, the technology can also be used in applications for the deaf or for automatic subtitling.
