Brno Ph.D. Talent
The Brno Ph.D. Talent competition offers doctoral students an opportunity to gain extra funding in the amount
of 10 thousand CZK per month which covers the first three years of doctoral studies. The financial aid is awarded annually to 20 new students.
The evaluation of the competition is based on excellent results and remarkable activities of the applicant documented primarily by professional CV. The quality and innovativeness of presented scientific project and the support for its elaboration provided to the applicant by his/her department and supervisor are also taken into account.

Gold medal at Robotour 2011 Competition (Vienna)
The objective of the Robotour is to encourage the development of robots capable of transporting paylaods completely autonomously. In contrast to the previous years, the robots got only a map and the coordinates of the destination. Therefore the robots had to be able to navigate around the park even if they had never been there before. Robot successfully solving this task should be able to navigate in any park with a corresponding map. We won this commpetition.
