The patent relates to the simulator based positive training transfer evaluation method in which the reference person performs predefined tasks, while the interaction between the reference person and the simulator is being observed and recorded. The trained person performs identical predefined tasks on the same simulator and the interaction of the trained person with the simulator is also being observed, whereupon the interactions of both persons with the simulator are compared and the correlation between the trained person's interaction relative to the reference person's interaction is determined. A reference pilot's dynamic model is estimated from the reference person's interaction with the simulator and a unique pilot's dynamic model is estimated from the trained person's interaction with the simulator. Frequency responses of both pilots are created from their respective dynamic models. Frequency responses are represented in a form of Bode plots. Respective Bode plots are compared to define the level of correlation between the trained and the reference persons' interaction. The device for simulator based positive training transfer evaluation contains a motion system, state and position sensors of respective simulator controls and a control system customized to provide a high fidelity simulation. The control system is equipped with a visualization block dedicated to displaying the predefined training task on the simulator's instrument panel. The system also contains a data recorder to record and store respective quantities of the simulation process. The device contains an evaluation unit customized to create a dynamic model of a person performing the predefined task on the simulator.
