The propulsion monitoring unit represents an interface between the onborad computer and the engine sensor system. This interface allows for an automated monitoring of the propulsion. The system integrates a set of sensors of engine quantities in a compact form. Engine data are transmitted in a digital format using the CANaerospace protocol.
