We offer a project that involves analyzing the current database model and designing a new model that: removes design shortcomings, removes shortcomings against normal forms, removes redundant and unused entities and attributes, optimizes attribute data types, and integrates support for concurrently developed system functionalities. Following is the preparation of a one-time or incremental migration plan from the old to the new model, the data conversion tool, and the codebase system.

 

The research team processes the design deficiencies of the database model - places of unclear relation and lack of logical separation of data.

Formal design defects of the database model - cause data redundancy and increase the complexity of database queries.

Inappropriate data types - complicate data validation during processing.

The presence of redundant and unused data - complicates work with the database and increases the risk of human error.
