Abstract

Application-specific computer systems should preferably be designed using fully automated methods that lead to highly optimized circuit and program solutions that can be seamlessly parallelized (to maximize performance) or approximated (to reduce power consumption). The aim of the project is to design and verify on typical applications new algorithms and computing platforms applicable in the design, optimization and implementation of highly application-specific computing systems.
