The proposed project focuses road traffic monitoring and enforcement systems and proposes their enhancement and through their novel functionality addresses improvement in safety of people and property, prevention and detection of accidents, violation of rules and criminal acts, but also improves security (cybersecurity) of the traffic monitoring and enforcement infrastructure. The innovation goal of the project is to develop an updated product consisting of an intelligent camera sensor connected to a cloud (server) system and its deployment. The system will exploit methods of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for improvement of functions leading into improved operational features and safe function of the system contributing to reach the above mentioned goal.
