The project deals with a special branch of computer engineering - biology-inspired hardware. The objective is to create demonstration applications for a newly created course Biology-Inspired Computers at FIT BUT. The applications clearly demonstrate principles of selected biology-inspired techniques. In addition, some examples will be implemented in FPGA too. The reason of submission of this project is the absence of courses dealing with biology-inspired hardware at the universities in the Czech republic.
