Program:
Modern formal language theory, teaching in English, materials for teaching, formal languages, compilers
Currently, there are several subjects at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology, where the formal language theory is being taught. In these subjects there are, however, presented only basic informations from the given area and students have no opportunity to learn more advanced and modern methods. The aim of this project is to create materials from which students could learn about the latest achievements in the area of formal language theory and compilers. These materials will be written in English language so that students can learn the present international terminology which might help them to find a job in the currently globalized European labour market.
