HATS - domácí systém hodnocení a sledování pro raný stres, úzkost a deprese
Project Period: 1. 3. 2025 – 28. 2. 2026
Project Type: grant
Code: TQ11000003, TQ11000003/1_04
Agency: Technologická agentura ČR
Early Stage, Assessment, Tracking, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Mobile App, Web
Interface, Database, Multiple Modalities, Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Digital Pen,
EEG Headset, Home
Objective 1 - Testing the proposed system:
The primary goal is to enable people to easily assess, track, and manage their
mental health information from the comfort of their home using consumer
technologies designed for self-monitoring. There are several modalities that can
detect abnormalities based on slow and subtle changes in behavior, demeanor, body
language, physical features (e.g., face, speech, text, handwriting), or in
physiological and neurophysiological parameters that are affected by stress,
anxiety, or depression in the early stages. The Health Assessment and Tracking
System (HATS) uses these commonly available consumer modalities:
1. Smartphone and tablet: Access to visual data (for facial analysis), speech
data (for speech analysis), and text data (for text analysis).
2. Digital pen.
3. Smartwatch: Allows recording of various physiological parameters (including
heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, sleep monitoring).
4. EEG Kit: Allows the user to capture electroencephalograph (EEG) signals.
HATS uses an app to collect data from these modalities, which then analyzes the
data for the presence of early signs and symptoms of stress, anxiety, and
depression. The first goal is to test HATS on a minimum of 100 subjects and then
modify the system based on their feedback. Modifications may include technical
improvements, increased usability, improved accessibility, greater scalability,
and user interface improvements.
Objective 2 - Preparation of a business plan:
Based on Objective 1, an implementation plan and business plan will be developed.
These plans will include a detailed description of the problem and proposed
solution, market size information, product differentiation from competitors,
competitor analysis, revenue model, marketing and sales strategy, identification
of risks and potential problems, and financial projections.
The business plan will include a detailed profile of the potential customer,
including their problems and expected benefits, and a description of the product
features that meet these needs. The aim is to create a value proposition
precisely tailored to the planned product. Data from customer surveys, needs
discovery surveys, search trend analysis and forum discussions will be collected
to prepare the business plan.
In addition to the above, the business plan will include a perceptual mapping of
the product in terms of innovation, credibility, availability compared to
conventional approaches. The approximate number of customers will be calculated
based on a PESTEL (political, economic, social, technological, environmental,
legal) analysis and key success factors. Product development and delivery plans
will be prepared with complete financial projections including investments,
expected revenues and profitability analysis.
