Nowadays, more and more companies are using the biometric recognition systems for securing their computers and data. These systems have it's advantages and also it's disadvantages. A valid biometric feature should fulfill these properties: universality, permanence and measurability. Using another words every individual shoul have this feature, the feature should not differ through time and this feature should be easily measured. Many people suffer by dermatological diseases affecting finger skin. These diseases typically change or destroy the papillary line pattern, so the involved people have changed or missing fingerprints. Logicly, these people feel discriminated. Analysis and elimination of influence of dermatological diseases to the biometric recognition is a big challenge for engineers, developpers and scientists who deal with biometric systems.
