Designing Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) appears challenging task because of complexity and unpredictability of components interactions and system heterogeneity. Designing emerging CPS for the Internet applications, e.g. health care systems, industrial process control, energy transportation, traffic control or autonomous vehicle navigation, occurs complex because it remains hard to guarantee network-wide Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, high-degree of resiliency and nodes availability. This paper aims to analyze fundamental requirements enabling to design future CPS deployed in Internet of Things (IoT) environment by finding current obstacles, exploring associated issues and shaping selected possible solutions. The aim of the related research project is to carefully analyze the sources of challenging issues, identify major drawbacks of the current Internet communication and propose feasible solutions with respect to requirements specified by the domain of Internet-based CPS.
