Abstract

This paper deals with using evolution algorithms in network applications.  The paper presents aims of dissertation thesis and previous work. It represents using cartesian and linear genetic programming in two network applications. The first study deals with the classification of application protocols in FPGA and the other is dedicated to design special hash function for network applications.
