At the beginning of this chapter, after general introduction to fingerprint technology, the categorization of skin diseases is introduced. This categorization is done on the base of possible influence to the process of fingerprint recognition. The second part is devoted to the description of acquired fingerprint data using various fingerprint sensors from patients in the university hospital, showing differences in images. The third part contains the description of possibilities for detecting a skin disease in fingerprint and its removability (image enhancement). The last part is oriented on generation of skin diseases into synthetic fingerprints. Herewith we would like to be able to generate large-scale databases for testing of fingerprint processing algorithms.
