Abstract

Technical report describes a device which allows capturing of firearms in horizontal plane from 0-180° range. It is a device that consists of u-ramp, Microsoft Kinect and two Canon digital cameras with objectives. Device can acquire set of images which show the firearm from various angles. The output is set of photos, set of files with depth data (PCL), video from the movement around the firearm and XML file with information about the firearm.
