Abstract
This paper describes a newly researched method of sound wave propagation simulation in closed volumes. The method is based on already known algorithms used in computer graphics (ray casting, etc.), but instead of dealing with single rays the method uses cones of sound. The computation can be made faster because sound cones can span over broader parts of space than rays and thus a relatively small number of cones is sufficient. The suggested algorithm and some possible ways of its implementation are discussed here.
