Anotace

Inheritance is a basic building block of current object-oriented technology. Its special form, a multiple inheritance, is not always accepted as necessary feature of object models that form a base of object-oriented programming languages and databases. The paper examines different approaches to inheritance, especially in connection with the latest ODMG 2.0 Object Model.
