Annotation
The paper deals with a proposal of a standard for object-oriented database management systems drawn up by the Object Database Management Group. This standard, called ODMG-93, was published in 1994. It covers several fields - an object model definition, object definition language, object manipulation language and object query language specifications and binding to two object-oriented programming languages (C++ and Smalltalk). Some of its features are discussed in the paper.
