Abstract
Prosodic Modification of Synthetic Speech
Annotation
This article presents method for speech prosodic modification based on parametric harmonics and noise model (HNM). Prosodic modifications are needed for high-quality speech synthesis. Widely used are PSOLA based methods, but there are some disadvantages in PSOLA techniques. Hence we tried to create parametric model of speech signal to overcome this disadvantages. By using this parametric model, we can resynthetize speech signal with prosodic modification by remapping original pitch-marks to synthetic ones.
