Abstract

This paper introduces a new trend in Web development called the Semantic Web. We will get familiar with its basic structure, important concepts and differences between the Semantic Web and current World Wide Web. We will get focused on important technologies related to creation and existence of the Semantic Web. Rest of the paper deals with a few possibilities of transformation the current existing Web to the Semantic one.
