Abstract
The paper describes a platform, which allows evolution of analogue or digital electronic circuits. The motherboard allows to evolve circuits consisting of any electronic components or electronically configured devices. The motherboard can be used as the evaluation platform for evolutionary design as well as stand-alone evolvable hardware device with embedded evolutionary algorithm and fault-tolerant features. The main attributes of our approach are high flexibility and scalability.
