Project Management Processes Modelling Using Petri Nets
Project, Project Management, Petri Nets, PMBOK
We can use Petri nets technique to processes modelling of projects, but without a necessity of separately approach. To date we have considered the Petri nets using to proposal, analysis and modelling of parallel and distribution systems both in technical and programming parties of computers. But we must still change and adapt the concrete Petri net to specific requirements of target users. This can be very protracted and impractical. That is why we propose a new approach based on modelling of project processes. It is the first attempted generalisation of Petri Nets application into project management domain. There are the main ideas and thesis described and a simple example of Petri Nets using is presented.
This submission presents a new approach of Petri Nets using to processes modelling of project management and subsequently to generalization of modelling abilities of Petri nets. It describes how we can use a technique of Petri Nets to model and control of project cycle and its all parties - projects of different orientation, extent, duration, domains etc. The main purpose of this article is to simplify a whole project realization, especially the domain of the project plan creation.
