Simulation of application specific instruction-set processors (ASIP) is important part of development of systems on a chip (SoC). One has to take care of shared resources, communication among ASIPs of the system and other related things. This paper proposes a way how to simulate these ASIPs on SoC. It is based on an architecture description language, which is used for a description of processors and basic resources of the system. Then, a synchronization protocol is proposed, which is used for controlling accesses to shared resources. Furthermore, the proposed way of simulation allows the simulation of SoC on a cluster of computers.
