Abstract

This document describes the state-of-the art in text- and speech-processing within the scope of the M-Eco system and project. Various methods to tackle the problems involved are described and methods to evaluate system performance are covered. Part 2 addresses the processing and classification of text while part 3 addresses speech recognition.
