Abstrakt

LwM2M is a client-server application communication protocolthat serves the purpose of a machine to machine communicationrespecting constrained resources of devices. The protocolpromotes the use four basic interfaces between L2M2M serverand client, namely bootstrap, client registration, devicemanagement and information reporting. The protocol itselfemploys CoAP as a transport protocol. This document inaddition to the overview of LwM2M features also provides aproposal for a list of data extracted for monitoring purposes.
