Framework for Socio-Economic Modeling
Rábová Zdeňka, doc. Ing., CSc.
Socio-economic modeling, neoclassical economy, artificial life, multi-agent system
This paper desribes our ways of thinking about socio-economic systems
and introduces the framework for modeling of these systems. This framework is
now developed.
Main theoretical foundations of this conception are both the multi-agent approach
and philosophy of the neoclassical economy. The system uses main lows of the neoclassical economy:
The triad Subject-Need-Good, an emphasis on individual, and the theory of marginal utility.
The framework will be used for simple design of an artificial population (the area called the Artificial Life)
and an observation of their structure depending on both properties
of the artificial world and knowledge of subjects (agents) -- the principle of emergence.
