Abstrakt

PNtalk is a language and system which combines Petri nets and Smalltalkin a consistent way by introducing Object Oriented Petri Nets. Theobjective of PNtalk is modeling, simulation, and prototyping. Ourcurrent focus is heterogeneous modeling, interoperability andmultisimulation. To achieve these goals, an open implementation approach proposingappropriate level of control over selected features of models isadopted. The open implementation of PNtalk is accomplished by itsreflective metalevel architecture. Multisimulation is demonstrated by asimple case study.
