Differential Equations in Electrical Engineering
QM2 Acad. year 2003/2004 Summer semester
Ordinary differential equations, fundamental concepts, exictence and uniqueness of a solution, singular points. Basic exact methods, power series use. Principle of numeric methods, classification and propagation of errors. Initial value problems, one-step and multi-step methods, the Taylor series method, solution of equation systems. Boundary value problems, the finite difference method, the finite element method, the finite volume method. Partial differential equation, classification of the second-order equations, equation esed in practice. Method of separation. Common features of numeric methods, principles and properties of basic methods.
