Mathematical Analysis 1 (foreign students)
M1A Acad. year 2003/2004 Winter semester 7 credits
Intuitive notion of set, sets of real and complex numbers. Differential calculus of functions of one real variable: limit and continuity, derivative and differential, composite function. Application of derivatives: extremes and the course of function. Integral calculus of function of one real variable: primitive function and indefinite integral, integration by substitution and by parts. Definite integral, Newton-Leibniz formula, improper integral, application of definite integral. Infinite series: number series, tests of convergence, power series and Taylor series.
