Information system as a special case of a system. Kinds of informarion systems OLAP and OLTP. History of information systems. Technology of information system with relational database system building. Portal type of information system. Technology of client and server programming (JavaScript and PHP). Transaction and their models. Technology of XML language.

- Information system as a document circulation, SGML and XML.
- HTML and XHTML.
- XML as the mean for strctural data description - XML technology, DTD and XSD schema.
- XML technology of DOM and XPath.
- XSLT - transformations of XML.
- Server part of information system - PHP I.
- Server part of information system - PHP II.
- Client part of information system - JavaScript I.
- Client part of information system - JavaScript II.
Progress assessment
At least half of points obtainable during the semester (tests and project), i.e. 25 points.
Controlled instruction
Mid-term test. Continuous checking of the project solution by the supervisor.
